 Course Rules:

1.  All tests are multiple-choice (MCQ's) and 85% must be attained in all tests.

2.  The number of attempts allowed at the MCQ's continual assessment: 3 attempts allowed except in the Level 3 course, where 2 attempts are allowed. 

3.  The MCQ's are used to enhance the learning experience. If you get some of them wrong, check the  reference material: ISO 19011, EN15975 the WHO DW Guidelines, the EU Drinking Water Directive, the Clean ater Act, the relevant drinking water regulations  etc.

4.  Many of the answers will need to be researched. Self-directed exercises content may appear again in the MCQ's.

5.  The emphasis is on the learner acquiring knowledge and skills, so we don't give all the answers; some research will need to be undertaken by the learner.

6. The number of attempts at the Final Examination: One only, but the questions are selected from the continual assessment exercises.

7.  The learner is expected to research the self-directed exercises using the reference material supplied.

8.  The videos can be stopped and started as necessary and can be re-visited many times in the 30 day time limit. The slide sequences follow on from the audio tutorial.

9.  The self-directed questions are designed for you to enhance your knowledge and skills in drinking water quality management and it is strongly advised that these are worked through.

10. You will need to purchase a copy of EN 15975-2:2013. This standard is essential reading for the level 2 course and can be purchased at www.standards.ie. and elsewhere. 

11. You will also need to purchase ISO 19011; this is also available at www.standards.ie and elsewhere.

12. There maybe a selection of acceptable answers  to the MCQ's. On occasion all boxes must be ticked and on other occasions just one box will need to be ticked. However, it is almost always the case that there will be more than one acceptable. answer to the questions.

13. All assessments shall be the learner's own work. Assistance from others in answering the examination questions is prohibited:honesty and integrity are expected.

14. Certificates of attainment will be isued to each successful learner on completion of the courses and your valued feedback obtained. Good luck.
